Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and process documentation.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day technical guidance, support, and direction to second-shift production personnel.
• Coordinate work activities to support production priorities and customer schedules.
• Monitor workflow and address barriers impacting production, quality, safety, and delivery.
• Serve as the first point of contact during second shift for operational issues and escalate when needed.
• Facilitate effective shift handoffs between first and second shift with clear communication of status and priorities.
• Review second-shift staffing, readiness, and resources; communicate gaps affecting safety, quality, or delivery.
• Document unresolved issues and open actions for follow-up by the Production Supervisor or supporting departments.
• Train new operators and technicians on manufacturing methods and SOPs.
• Assess competency and process understanding; promote cross-training for flexibility.
• Own creation, revision, and continuous improvement of work instructions.
