Job summary

Innomark Communications seeks a Feeder Operator for the 2:30pm–10:30pm shift in Richmond, IN. This full-time manual labor position supports the printing process with feeder loading, make-ready assistance, and strict adherence to safety and quality standards.

You will monitor press operations, assist with wash-ups, and help maintain color and register across sheets. Prior printing experience and color vision are required, with opportunities for growth in a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience in printing.
• Must pass color blindness evaluation.
• Good mechanical understanding of presses and auxiliary equipment is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Loads all paper stock in the feeder platform.
• Assists during make-ready and run as directed by the Pressman.
• Monitors the side guide while running to ensure it is in register from sheet to sheet.
• Assists on wash-up of the press per the Pressman’s direction.
• Performs preventative maintenance on the press (lubrication, replacing small parts, cleaning, setting roller adjustments).
• Assists on wash-up to achieve make-ready goals as set by the manufacturing budget.
• Keeps sheets in register and on color as assigned by the Pressman.
• Assists in clean up and keeping the immediate work areas around the press neat and organized.
• Reads Material Safety Data Sheets and handles/ disposes chemicals properly.
• Must work safely following all safety rules and regulations.
• Performs other tasks as requested by management.
