Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of feed manufacturing equipment operation and maintenance.
• Ability to perform basic math functions.
• Basic computer knowledge and usage abilities.
• Ability to work unsupervised and self-motivate.
• Ability to communicate effectively, and read and write legibly.
• Possess sound work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Unload incoming trucks and operate auto-receiving system.
• Inspect incoming material and verify condition against receiving documents.
• Collect feed samples per sampling plan and rotate stock.
• Maintain paperwork and reports; coordinate batching and production with staff.
• Perform preventive maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
• Comply with safety policies and FSMA, FDA, GMP and QC procedures.
• Operate forklift and assist with housekeeping tasks.
• Follow all company policies and local, state and federal regulations.
