Job summary

JLL seeks a 2nd Shift Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to oversee daily maintenance across multiple trades, supervising mechanics and coordinating work across sites in Michigan. You will ensure compliance with engineering standards and high-quality operations while directing budgets and vendor relations.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of facility/plant maintenance and supervisory experience, with strong cross-functional communication and a track record of managing union staff.

Qualifications

• 5+ years facility/plant maintenance experience.
• 5+ years supervisory experience.
• Experience managing represented (union) employees.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise mechanics across carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and related systems.
• Organize daily facilities maintenance operations and projects.
• Coordinate schedules, assignments and material procurement.
• Train and develop employees; set performance standards.
• Develop cost estimates for maintenance and construction projects.
• Maintain facilities maintenance department budget.
