Job summary

gpac is hiring for a 2nd Shift Fabrication Supervisor to lead daily workflows, oversee piping and ductwork fabrication, and ensure safety and quality across industrial projects. You will review drawings, coordinate with project teams, and mentor crew members to uphold high-performance standards.

The role requires an OSHA 10, a high school diploma, and at least 5 years in mechanical construction or fabrication in data centers or industrial sectors. This is a full-time, on-site position in Ohio.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED; OSHA 10 certification mandatory.
• OSHA 10 certification mandatory.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in mechanical construction or fabrication in commercial, industrial, or data center sectors.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily workflows to meet productivity targets.
• Conduct daily safety meetings to promote safety and compliance.
• Mentor and train crew members to enhance skills and maintain high-performance standards.
• Supervise fabrication and installation of piping, ductwork, and mechanical systems including HVAC, chilled water, and condenser water systems used in data centers and industrial projects.
• Review blueprints, isometric drawings, and fabrication details to guarantee precision.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to align schedules and resources.
• Maintain quality control by inspecting work and ensuring compliance with standards and codes.
• Support commissioning and turnover activities to meet operational requirements.
