Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years manufacturing experience; 2+ years supervisory experience.
• Responsible, dependable, detail oriented and professional.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work and to meet deadlines.
• Proficient with computer and other office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily department operations to ensure policy compliance and adherence to procedures.
• Oversee daily fabrication activities, maintain an organized work environment, and ensure effective use of resources.
• Enforce safety policies and PPE usage, identify hazards, and address safety concerns.
• Ensure high product quality by monitoring processes, addressing defects, and driving continuous improvement.
• Lead and develop fabrication team with clear direction, coaching, and performance feedback.
• Meet production targets by tracking schedules, labor utilization, and workflow while maintaining quality and safety.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives to reduce waste and inefficiencies and promote continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with first-shift leadership to communicate status, staffing needs, and priorities for smooth shift transitions.
