Job summary

Viking Fabrication Services LLC is seeking a Fabrication Supervisor to lead daily shop operations, ensuring safety, productivity, and quality. You will supervise fabrication employees, coordinate production schedules, and optimize labor and equipment utilization to meet customer delivery commitments.

You will partner with the Branch Operations Manager and other departments to drive performance, coach staff, and implement Lean improvements while maintaining a safe and compliant workplace.

Qualifications

Experience leading fabrication/metal processing teams.
Strong understanding of shop operations and scheduling.
Proven ability to coach and develop employees.
Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and best practices.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate daily fabrication shop operations to meet schedules and quality standards.
Assign work, set priorities, balance labor, and maximize productivity.
Monitor output, efficiency, and throughput; drive continuous improvement.
Provide hands-on support during high workload or staffing shortages.
Lead safety culture; ensure OSHA compliance and housekeeping standards.
Support hiring, onboarding, evaluations, and staffing decisions.
