Job summary

Shopko Optical is seeking 2nd Shift-Production Support at our De Pere, Wisconsin manufacturing facility. Starting pay is $18/hour plus $2.00 shift premium. You will provide supplies to the production lab and work with vendors to ensure adequate inventory and timely order fulfillment.

Responsibilities include processing orders, managing stock, receiving shipments, and maintaining accurate paperwork. Strong customer service and communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate clearly.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Analytical and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Process merchandise and supply orders for fabrication of eyeglasses.
• Order stock to maintain inventory levels and coordinate procedures.
• Receive inbound shipments and place in proper location in the Optical Lab.
• Follow up with vendors to resolve shipping or pricing issues.
• Communicate out of stock issues to production team and stores.
• Prepare orders for delivery and ensure proper packaging and locations.
• Handle returns and recalls according to company standards.
• Respond to inquiries from internal and external customers and provide status updates.
