Job summary

Shopko Optical in De Pere, WI, is seeking a Production Specialist for 1st shift to fabricate eyewear using precision equipment. Starting pay is $18/hour with a $500 sign-on bonus and a 4-day workweek from 5:00am to 1:30pm.

You will join our manufacturing facility producing quality eyewear for patients across our locations. As part of the production team, you'll operate optical lab equipment, follow safety guidelines, and collaborate with teammates to meet production targets while maintaining

Qualifications

High School Graduate or GED (preferred).
Demonstrated ability to learn and perform production-related tasks.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
Optical experience a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

Operate sophisticated optical manufacturing equipment.
Fabricate, assemble, treat and handle lenses through different manufacturing processes.
Inspect lens blanks for flaws and verify surface quality.
Maintain production output standards and follow safety guidelines.
Collaborate with team to continuously improve processes.
