Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED or 3–6 months related experience or training
  • Industry experience recommended

Responsibilities

  • Set up, maintain, and run extrusion lines to keep production on track
  • Clean and maintain extrusion tooling with proper handling to prevent damage
  • Visually inspect, weigh, and measure hoses to meet internal standards and adjust as needed
  • Monitor line to locate defects and shut down or adjust to eliminate defects
  • Reject products/materials not meeting quality and report issues to supervisor
  • Collaborate with team, shift supervisors, and other personnel to address issues
  • Complete work orders accurately and with minimal supervision
  • Record time worked and allocate to appropriate job(s)
  • Operate a forklift as needed
  • Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with OSHA and company rules
