Job summary

TE Wire & Cable LLC in Saddle Brook, NJ, is seeking an extruder operator to set up, maintain, and run extrusion machinery. You’ll ensure continuous production, adjust machine settings, and load materials according to job specs while maintaining safety.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience with Wire, PVC and/or plastic extrusion.
• Shift: MONDAY-FRIDAY with 2nd/3rd shifts available.
• High school diploma or GED required; technical degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up machines to start a production cycle and control settings.
• Load extruder hopper with plastic granules and color concentrate as specified.
• Load reels of wire, thread through preheater and die, and monitor output.
• Identify and fix issues during the shift and ensure safe, efficient operation.
