Job summary

Enpro Inc., through its Garlock family of companies, seeks an Expansion Joint Builder 2 for our on-site production facility in Palmyra, NY. You will assemble expansion joints, operate fork-trucks, follow build sheets, and ensure quality while maintaining a safe, clean work environment.

Ideal candidates have high school diploma and welding or fabrication experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work a 2pm–10pm shift, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in maintenance, manufacturing or production industry preferred.
• Previous welding experience is a plus.
• Excellent verbal, written communication and listening skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities.
• Flexibility in work schedule.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Build varied style expansion joints including joints that require reinforcing wire using hand/power tools.
• Follow build procedures and work instructions for building joints.
• Operate clamps and presses and prepare joints for curing.
• Welds coil on joints and assembles components.
• Maintain and order raw materials using reorder signals.
