Job summary

Aramark Healthcare+ seeks a 2nd Shift Operations Manager - Environmental Services (EVS) to support Floyd Medical Center in Rome, GA. You will oversee second shift EVS operations, lead frontline teams, and partner with hospital leadership to ensure a clean and safe environment.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, coaching for performance and safety, and coordinating scheduling, productivity, and quality inspections to support patient throughput and 24/7 operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of healthcare Environmental Services experience required.
• Previous hospital EVS experience preferred.
• Supervisory or management experience leading frontline teams.
• Knowledge of infection prevention, healthcare cleaning standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work second shift and support a 24/7 operation.

Responsibilities

• Lead second shift EVS operations, including frontline associates and supervisors.
• Coach, develop, recognize, and hold team members accountable for performance, safety, and service standards.
• Conduct shift huddles, rounding, and ongoing performance coaching.
• Ensure rooms and spaces meet cleanliness and sanitation standards.
• Manage staffing, assignments, productivity, turnover, and discharge cleaning.
• Build relationships with hospital leadership and address concerns promptly.
• Support labor management, scheduling, overtime control, and operational metrics.
• Ensure compliance with policies, infection prevention standards, and safety procedures.
