Job summary

Xanitos, Inc. seeks a 2nd Shift Environmental Services Manager to lead the EVS team at Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center in Houston, TX. You will manage associates in the Environmental Services department, coordinate with the Unit Director, and ensure high standards of cleanliness and service.

Key duties include staff selection, shift scheduling, QA checks, training, discipline when needed, and maintaining a sanitary, orderly environment while promoting Xanitos’ culture and values.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Flexibility to work some differing shifts.
• Proficient in Windows-based office software.

Responsibilities

• Participate in staff selection process and interview candidates.
• Assign personnel to established work areas or project duties.
• Conduct quality assurance checks and manage equipment and materials inventory.
• Ensure proper orientation, training, and ongoing education for staff.
• Provide guidance and motivation to staff; apply disciplinary actions as needed.
• Maintain an environment that is sanitary, attractive and orderly.
• Promote Xanitos culture, values and management philosophy.
• Lead by example to meet performance plans.
