Xanitos, Inc. is hiring Hospital Housekeepers for our Discharge Team on a full-time, on-site basis at Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center in Houston, TX. The 2nd shift runs from 3pm to 11:30pm or 5pm to 1:30am with an hourly pay rate of $15.00.

Immediate offers for qualified candidates. The Environmental Service Hospital Housekeepers will clean and maintain facilities on client premises, handling daily duties across patient rooms, corridors, restrooms, and common areas while meeting client

Qualifications

• Must have yearly flu shot as a condition of employment.
• Experience in janitorial industry a plus
• Medical cleaning a plus
• Post-Offer Medical, Background Screening and Drug Test required
• High school diploma or GED; or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
• Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
• Sweeps and/or vacuums floor.
• Dusts furniture and equipment.
• Polishes metalwork.
• Washes walls, ceiling, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
• Empties wastebasket and transports trash and waste to disposal area.
• Replenishes bathroom supplies.
• Transports small equipment or tools between departments.
• Fast paced and quick turnarounds while meeting expectations
• Must have great time management.
