Job summary

Garmin Ltd. in Salem, OR is seeking a full-time Electronics Assembler to assemble electronic components, subassemblies, and systems, and to test their functionality using standard equipment.

Typical shift is Mon-Fri 6:00am - 2:30pm, with operations including various hand and power tool tasks and routine maintenance. Qualified candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED plus hands-on assembly experience, good dexterity, and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated dexterity and eye coordination for delicate electronics.
• Able to bend, lift up to 30 pounds, and stand for long shifts.
• Two+ years assembly experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read shop orders and follow work instructions to assemble components.
• Train other Garmin associates on task requirements and processes.
• Operate tools and equipment to assemble, test, and mount assemblies.
• Perform operator-level preventive maintenance on machines as required.
• Test assembled products using standard test equipment and document results.
• Maintain clean and organized work area and follow safety policies.
