SJS Executives, LLC (SJS) is seeking an Electromechanical Technician for 2nd shift in Chelmsford, MA. The role is full-time, with training on first shift and standard hours 2:30 PM–11:00 PM. Salary is $35.18 per hour, plus benefits including holidays, sick leave, and health/dental/life insurance.

You will support automated packaging and dosing equipment for a federal facility. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, calibration, PLC programming, and troubleshooting to keep systems fully

Qualifikationen

• Valid Real ID required by federal regulations.
• 2+ years on automatic or conveyor systems in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of electronics, mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and related fields.
• Ability to interpret electronic and mechanical drawings and schematics.
• Must pass drug test and a lengthy background check for access to a military installation.

Aufgaben

• Provides technical support for automated equipment (packaging, conveyors, dosing machines) built from multiple subsystems.
• Performs preventive maintenance, installation, evaluation, repair, calibration, modification, and PLC programming.
• Troubleshoots issues and restores devices to full operation.
• Evaluates repair vs replacement and plans improvements.
• Assesses test equipment needs and ensures system reliability.
• Coordinates preventive maintenance and routine inspections.
• Helps write maintenance procedures, PPE, LOTO requirements, and contract specs.
• Advises supervisor on equipment decisions and solutions.
• Assists in installing control systems and basic computer support.
