Job summary

Siemens Mobility in Pomona, CA is seeking an Electrical Engineering Technician on the 2nd shift to perform electrical testing on power distribution products 600V and below. You will work 2:00pm–10:30pm after initial training on a day schedule, supporting a range of testing activities and ensuring quality through accurate documentation.

The role requires 2-year technical training or equivalent experience, plus knowledge of power distribution components and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2 year technical degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience in the engineering or testing of power distribution equipment.
• Knowledge of power distribution components (breakers, relays, communication devices).
• Experience in a fast paced production environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Qualified to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Test and inspect low voltage switchboards and panel boards to applicable standards.
• Use multimeter and electrical theory to verify power readings and circuit builds.
• Operate test equipment and software for testing and inspecting.
• Maintain records or reports related to testing/inspecting activities.
• Assist in training other specialists and employees as needed.
• Maintain and improve test procedures and documentation.
