Job summary

Initial training on 1st shift (2pm-10pm) for 1–2 months, with overtime as needed. The role requires basic math, familiarity with measuring tools (micrometers, digital calipers, tape measure), and strong communication and teamwork to maintain safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent; manufacturing experience preferred.
• Math: basic arithmetic; inches/feet; metric knowledge is a plus.
• Experience with measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, tape) required.

Responsibilities

• Check work orders and verify material weight, alloy, size and quality.
• Operate and set up an edging machine; identify edging tools.
• Inspect material during processing to ensure quality.
• Group completed coils by work order and keep area clean.
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical problems and perform basic math calculations.
• Maintain documentation for edged material.
