Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is hiring for a manufacturing associate at our Dallas, TX facility. Base pay is $17 per hour, plus $1.00 per hour shift differential. Morning shift runs Monday to Friday with 6 PM start times and possible 12-hour shifts and Saturdays as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months in a Manufacturing Environment.
• Must be able to work up to 12 hours and Saturdays as needed.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, fabricate, and inspect windows and doors to meet quality standards and specifications.
• Review work orders, prepare materials, and safely operate hand tools, power tools, saws, and automated equipment.
• Assemble components including frames, glass units, hardware, seals, and screens.
• Operate production equipment such as saws, pneumatic tools, and welding machinery.
• Inspect finished products and report defects or quality concerns.
• Prepare products for shipment, including labeling, packing, and loading.
• Participate in 5S activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contribute ideas to improve safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Support quality standards and help ensure products meet customer requirements.
• Work respectfully and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Support the team in achieving production and performance targets.
• Follow direction of leadership and continuously verify quality through measurement.
• Adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE.
• Ability to work in a non-temperature-controlled manufacturing environment
