Job summary

CJ Schwan’s in Salina, KS, is seeking a Distribution Supervisor for the 2nd shift (roughly 4:00 PM–2:00 AM) to oversee inventory and distribution at one of the world’s largest pizza plants as part of a 140,000 square foot expansion. You will supervise staff, enforce safety and HACCP standards, coordinate truck loading, maintain FIFO stock rotation, and manage BOM and inventory accuracy.

Qualifications

• Leadership and supervisory experience.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Familiar with SAP and Kronos.
• Knowledge of Bills of Materials and auditing.
• Strong math and communication skills.
• Experience with material handling equipment.
• Understanding of truck loading and yard operations.
• Willing to obtain forklift license.
• Reliable work history.
• Shift flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Supervising distribution for efficiency and cost control.
• Enforcing safety guidelines and HACCP checks.
• Coordinating truck loading/unloading timely.
• Ensuring materials stored per temperature requirements.
• Maintaining stock rotation using FIFO.
• Managing BOMs and inventory adjustments.
• Requesting or performing facilities/equipment maintenance.
• Ensuring cycle counting and month-end inventory accuracy.
• Tracking product load weights and counts.
• Training and developing subordinates.
• Upholding company mission and ethics.
