Job summary

McCormick & Company, Incorporated in Byhalia, MS is seeking a Distribution Coordinator - 2nd Shift to support warehouse and order selection activities. You will work under the Team Manager and Crew Leader to execute daily plans and report metrics.

This role requires a high school diploma, 2 years of warehouse experience, forklift license, and proficiency with Excel, Outlook, and ERP systems. Overtime on short notice is expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years’ warehouse/order selection experience required.
• Demonstrated ability to use calculator, on-line systems including PC databases, Outlook, Excel and word processing required.
• Must have forklift license & experience operating all types of material handling equipment, including reach, stand up, sit down, walking transporter & riding transporter.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize in a fast paced, ever changing environment.
• High level of numerical computation skills and analytical skills required.
• Must have excellent clerical and math skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to concentrate in high traffic area and ability to maintain confidential information required.
• Overtime on short notice required.
• Knowledge of SAP/ERP Warehouse Management System preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate warehouse/order selection activities and delegate tasks.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly productivity reports and timekeeping data.
• Update daily metrics and generate reports; support process improvements.
• Assist in safety, sanitation, and training initiatives and act as liaison between departments.
• Back up to Crew Leader and Distribution Technicians as needed.
