Job summary

TileBar, a leader in tile and surfaces, seeks a Distribution Center Department Manager to oversee the warehouse and team leaders. You will drive efficient operations, ensure accurate shipping and receiving, and lead cost-control initiatives while maintaining a safe, compliant environment.

Ideal candidates have strong leadership, data-driven decision skills, and experience with warehouse systems such as SAP, WMS, and PIT; a flexible schedule is required.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership and ability to motivate a team in a warehouse setting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decisions.
• Flexible schedule including early mornings and late nights as required.
• Experience with SAP, WMS and PIT systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise a team including an Assistant Department Manager and Team Leaders.
• Ensure operational excellence and safe, efficient warehouse processes.
• Maintain staffing and optimize movement and processing of product.
• Design and implement cost-control systems and processes.
• Train and mentor staff; address disciplinary actions as needed.
• Enforce safety policies and monitor performance against policies.
