Job summary

AAA Northeast seeks a Dispatch Supervisor to lead the dispatch area, coordinating with ERS Supervisors, Dispatchers, Field Staff, Training Specialists and Management to sustain fast response times and high service quality.

Candidates should live within a commutable distance to Milford, CT, with possible on-site work as needed. An Associate's Degree or 3–4 years of relevant experience is required, and prior supervisory dispatch experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs the activities of the dispatch area to achieve response time targets.
• Monitors calls and service areas for aging and bottlenecks.
• Deploys dispatch staff and coordinates cross-functional decisions.
• Provides supervisors with dispatcher performance reports.
• Assists in the design and implementation of operational and technological changes.
• Detects equipment malfunctions and implements contingency measures.
• Maintains cost awareness in dispatch decisions.
