Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a Diesel Maintenance Mechanic for the first shift (days) at our Hanceville, AL location. You will maintain and repair trucks and trailers, perform preventive maintenance, and uphold Tyson safety culture. You must provide your own tools and have a valid driver's license.

Requirements include 1 year of mechanical/maintenance experience, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, read/understand assignments, and readiness to work in varying conditions. Background checks may apply.

Qualifications

• 1 year basic mechanical or maintenance skills including PM on equipment.
• Must supply own tools and have a valid driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair trucks and trailers and perform preventive maintenance.
• Follow Tyson safety policies and procedures.
• Read and understand assignments and communicate clearly.
• Operate cutting torch and electric welder as required.
