Job summary

Daniels Health in Baltimore, MD is seeking a customer-focused driver with a Class B license to operate a 26 ft box truck across the MD/DC area. You will collect medical waste containers from healthcare locations and deliver high-quality service daily.

This is a direct hire, full-time 2nd shift position (5 PM to 5 AM, Mon-Fri) with benefits and a $3,000 new hire bonus after probation. Pay is $29.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Class B license with clean driving record and valid DOT medical card.
• Minimum 3 years experience operating a 26 ft box truck.
• Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspections.

Responsibilities

• Delivering throughout MD/DC.
• Operating 26 ft box truck in a safe manner.
• Safely collect, deliver and store medical waste containers at customer locations.
• Provide strong customer service and build positive customer relationships.
• Complete deliveries to time schedule and clearly communicate changes.
• Loading and unloading and organizing the truck per schedule needs.
• Comply with DOT regulations, logging hours and roadside inspections.
• Push/pull a cart up to 200 lbs as needed.
