Job summary

Daniels Health in Baltimore is seeking a customer-focused driver with a Class B license to service healthcare customers in the Baltimore, MD area, collecting sharps and medical waste containers and delivering exceptional service daily.

You will operate a 26 ft box truck, load/unload, and ensure DOT compliance while driving across MD/DC. The position offers stability, full-time hours, and a $3,000 new hire bonus after probation.

Qualifications

• Class B license with clean driving record and valid DOT medical card.
• 3+ years of experience operating a 26 ft box truck.
• Experience with DOT compliance and logging hours.
• Passing our 7 Year FADV review in the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse.
• Strong customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Delivering throughout MD/DC.
• Operate 26 ft box truck safely.
• Safely collect, deliver and store our medical waste containers at customer locations.
• Providing strong customer service and building positive customer relationships.
• Completing deliveries to time schedule and clearly communicating changes.
• Loading and unloading and organizing your truck per schedule needs.
• Complying with DOT regulations, logging hours and roadside inspections.
• Pushing/pulling a four-wheeled cart that weighs as much as 200lbs!!
