Job summary

Daniels Health & Sharpsmart in Baltimore is seeking a customer-focused Class B driver to service healthcare locations across MD. You will operate a 26 ft box truck, collect sharps and medical waste containers, and deliver a high level of customer service while adhering to DOT regulations.

The role offers a stable full-time schedule (Mon-Fri, 5am-3pm or 6pm) with a $27/hour rate and a $3,000 new hire bonus after probation. Benefits start day one and the position is direct-hire.

Qualifications

• Class B license with a clean driving record and valid DOT medical card.
• Minimum 3 years experience operating 26 ft box truck.
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations.
• Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspections.
• Proven longevity in past employment.
• Touch freight experience.

Responsibilities

• Delivering throughout MD/DC.
• Operating 26 ft box truck in a safe manner.
• Safely collect, deliver and store our medical waste containers at customer locations.
• Providing strong customer service and building positive customer relationships.
• Completing deliveries to time schedule and clearly communicating changes.
• Loading and unloading and organizing your truck per schedule needs.
• Complying with DOT regulations, logging hours and roadside inspections.
