Job summary

Daniels Health in Baltimore, MD is seeking a customer-focused Class A driver to serve healthcare clients across MD/DC. You will operate straight trucks up to 53ft, collect medical waste containers, and deliver safe, reliable service with a strong emphasis on DOT compliance and customer relations.

The role is 3rd shift (5PM–5AM) with a set hourly rate of $32.00 and a $3,000 new hire bonus after probation. Full benefits, overtime opportunities, and direct hire employment are provided.

Qualifications

• Class A license with a clean driving record and a VALID DOT MEDICAL CARD.
• Minimum 3 years experience operating straight truck/tractor trailer up to 53ft.
• Passing 7 Year FADV review in the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse.
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations.
• Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspections.
• Can-do attitude with a strong customer focus.
• Proven longevity in past employment.
• Touch freight experience.

Responsibilities

• Delivering throughout MD/DC.
• Operating straight truck/tractor trailer up to 53ft in a safe manner.
• Safely collect, deliver and store medical waste containers at customer locations.
• Providing strong customer service and building positive customer relationships.
• Completing deliveries to time schedule and clearly communicating changes.
• Loading and unloading and organizing your truck per schedule needs.
• Complying with DOT regulations, logging hours and roadside inspections.
• Pushing/pulling a 200lbs+ four-wheeled cart as needed.
