Job summary

Phillips Industries is seeking a 2nd Shift Distribution Center Supervisor at our Cincinnati facility. You will serve as the primary on-site contact during the second shift from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM, overseeing receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, safety, and team leadership to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

You will report to the DC Manager and lead daily shift meetings, manage workflow, and coordinate with multiple departments to meet customer commitments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of warehouse experience.
• Experience leading a team or shift supervision.
• Experience operating warehouse equipment.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coach second-shift warehouse staff, assign priorities, monitor performance.
• Manage picking, packing, shipping, and inventory movements to meet customer requirements.
• Perform cycle counts and investigate inventory discrepancies.
• Promote safety and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Provide daily shift handoffs and communicate priorities to the next shift.
