Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods in the United States is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Distribution Center. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair conveyance systems and related equipment, ensuring PM standards are followed and records are kept in our asset management system.

The role requires 3–5 years of mechanical or electrical experience, reading schematics, and familiarity with LOTO procedures. Expect a shift from Tuesday to Friday evenings, with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 2-year vocational/technical degree in mechanical or electrical applications.
• 3-5 years of experience.
• Welding, burning, cutting.
• Hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes & PLC controls.
• DC-specific software packages (Crown PM, Gage) knowledge.
• Ability to read electrical/mechanical drawings.
• Good safety awareness.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• LOTO experience.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to OSHA safety requirements including LOTO and safe work practices.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment; follow PM standards and document work performed for asset management system.
• Report spare parts inventory levels and daily usage to Maintenance leadership.
• Assist in teammate development by training junior technicians.
• Work with outside vendors to complete projects within the DCs safely and timely.
• Take on other duties to support the DC and its operational needs.
