Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods is seeking a DC Maintenance Technician in the United States, New York area. The role involves maintaining and repairing facility equipment, conveyors, and drives, with safety first and PM-driven practices.

You will troubleshoot PLCs, hydraulics, and pneumatics, document activities, and train junior technicians while coordinating with vendors on projects to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required or equivalent technical training.
• 2-year vocational certificate in mechanical or electrical applications.
• 3–5 years of maintenance experience in industrial settings.
• Welding, burning, cutting skills preferred.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes & PLCs.
• Able to read electrical/mechanical drawings and schematics.
• Familiarity with DC-specific software and equipment.
• Good safety awareness and ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety requirements including OSHA and LOTO protocols.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment and conveyors.
• Document work in asset management systems and follow PM standards.
• Train junior technicians to improve performance and troubleshooting.
• Work with outside vendors to complete projects safely and on time.
• Take on other duties to support DC operations as needed.
