Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our distribution center in the U.S. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing facility equipment, conveyors, and PLC controls while adhering to PM standards and safety practices.

The position requires an associate degree and 3–5 years of related experience, including welding and hydraulics. LOTO knowledge and the ability to read schematics are essential; lifting up to 75 lbs is required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in mechanical or electrical field.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Welding, burning, cutting.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes & PLC controls.
• Familiar with DC software packages (e.g., Crown PM).
• Able to read & understand electrical/mechanical drawings/schematics.
• Good safety awareness.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull & lift up to 75 lbs.
• Experience with LOTO.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety requirements including OSHA standards with regards to LOTO.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all equipment related to the facility and conveyance systems; document work in asset management system.
• Report spare parts inventory levels and daily usage to Maintenance leadership.
• Assist in teammate development by training junior technicians.
• Work closely with outside vendors to complete projects safely and timely.
• Take on other duties as needed to support the DC's operations.
