Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. in Corinth, MS is hiring for a Cleaning I position on 2nd shift. The role focuses on disassembling and detailing engine components in a fast-paced, safety-driven environment. Expect use of various tools, overhead hoists, and routine data entry using computer systems.

Starting pay is $17.05 per hour with a 7% night shift premium, plus extensive benefits. The job requires PPE, standing for long hours, and adherence to safety guidelines in a climate-controlled facility.

Qualifications

Basic computer experience (read standard work documents and enter data).
Must read/write and interpret documents.
Experience with Microsoft Word/Excel preferred.
Prior use of hoists and basic tooling is a plus.
Knowledge of engines and components is desirable.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Work in a fast-paced, safety- and quality-focused environment to disassemble and detail engine components.
May use disassembly tools to clean/detail (vibratory, pneumatic tools, etc.).
Cross training in other Salary Grade 1 positions may be required.
May use an overhead hoist to move large components.
May perform material handling, unloading parts from tubs or baskets per production schedule.
Wear a detail suit with hood and/or respirator; respirator training may be required.
Utilize various computer systems including email on a regular basis.
Adhere to Built in Safety guidelines; work in a team environment.
Demonstrate attention to detail and self-motivation; operate with minimal supervision.
