Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. in Corinth, MS is seeking a Cleaning II to load/unload parts, operate cleaning machinery, and perform maintenance tasks in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment.

This role supports Caterpillar Remanufacturing by ensuring parts are cleaned to standard quality for assembly. You will work second shift 2pm-10pm with overtime potential, using tools, reading blueprints, and following safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Basic computer experience to read standard work documents and enter data.
• Ability to read/write and interpret documents.
• Knowledge of engines and components.
• Experience using basic hand tools and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload parts and operate cleaning machinery in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.
• Use overhead hoist to move large components when required.
• Load/unload parts from washers and perform material handling per production schedules.
• Interpret blueprints and select appropriate operations; may wash, clean, or blast components.
• Understand torque requirements and use hand, cordless, and gauges tools.
• Move parts using equipment like reach trucks or forklifts; wear respirator if needed.
• Cross-train in other areas and adhere to Built in Safety guidelines.
