Job summary

Triangle Cyber, LLC is seeking a Cybersecurity Incident Manager (2nd Shift) to provide onsite incident management support for a large federal client. You will perform CND incident triage, correlate data to identify trends, and recommend defense-in-depth measures to strengthen enterprise security.

Required are a Top Secret clearance, 2+ years of relevant experience, and a degree in CS/Cybersecurity/IT or equivalent.

Qualifications

Top Secret clearance is required.
2+ years of direct incident management or cybersecurity operations experience.
Bachelor's degree in CS/Cybersecurity/IT, or High School Diploma with 4+ years of relevant experience.
Knowledge of incident response methodologies.
Knowledge of NIST 800-62 (latest revision) and FISMA reporting.
Knowledge of the National Cyber Incident Scoring System for triage prioritization.
Knowledge of attack stages and common vulnerabilities and exploits.
Familiarity with basic system administration and OS hardening techniques.

Responsibilities

Perform CND incident triage to determine scope, urgency, and potential impact.
Correlate incident data to identify trends in reported incidents.
Recommend defense-in-depth principles and practices.
Research and compile known resolution steps to mitigate incidents.
Apply cybersecurity concepts to detection and defense of intrusions; analyze log data.
Monitor external data sources to stay current on CND threat conditions and impact.
