Job summary

The Williamsport Area School District is seeking a Full-Time, 2nd Shift Custodian to support a safe and inviting learning environment across all district buildings. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and the ability to follow written and oral instructions.

Candidates must have a PA driver’s license and be able to operate basic maintenance programs and cleaning equipment. This position is 8 hours per day for 250 days per school year.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Proficiency in word processing and maintenance related programs.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning duties as assigned.
• Prepares building for daily operations.
• Cleans and disinfects classrooms, offices, cafeterias, restrooms, and locker rooms.
• Restocks bathroom supplies daily.
• Maintains floors, windows, and cleaning equipment.
• Monitors and reports building conditions and safety issues.
