Job summary

North Penn School District is hiring for a 2nd Shift Custodian/Cleaner (3 p.m. - 11:30 p.m.), location TBD. The role ensures clean, safe, and functional facilities in accordance with district policies.

The position reports to the Facility Supervisor/Head Custodian and requires a High School Diploma or GED with custodial experience preferred. Primary duties include cleaning, minor repairs, inventory management, event setups, and security checks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous custodial experience preferred.
• Must be able to perform physical tasks and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Performs inside and outside cleaning and sanitizing services as assigned.
• Transports, stores, and maintains inventory of equipment, materials, and supplies.
• Performs maintenance tasks and minor repairs as directed.
• Cleans floors, carpets, and handles waxing or stripping as needed.
• Provides setups for events and activities.
• Maintains custodial closets in neat, orderly condition.
