Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA is seeking a full-time 2nd shift Custodian to join the Building Services team. Responsibilities include cleaning classrooms, offices, gymnasiums, restrooms, and pool areas, plus light maintenance and event setups.

The position requires a High School diploma or equivalent, at least 6 months of institutional cleaning experience, and a valid PA driver’s license. Candidates should be physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and be available for snow removal

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 6 months’ experience in institutional/commercial cleaning.
• Must be physically able to lift/move items up to 50 pounds.
• Valid PA driver’s license in good standing.
• Experience with pool cleaning is a plus.
• Bloodborne pathogen training a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain campus buildings in a neat, clean, and orderly condition.
• Clean classrooms, shop areas, hallways, offices, gymnasiums, restrooms, locker rooms, and pool areas.
• Assist in setups for meetings/events and unlock/lock buildings.
• Assist with snow removal and other essential duties as assigned.
