Job summary

Milton Hershey School seeks a full-time Groundskeeper II to maintain a 2,700-acre campus, including athletic fields and a public golf course. Responsibilities cover pruning, mowing, fertilizing, and chemical applications, plus winter snow/ice removal.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with chemical/pesticide application.
• Valid PA Driver's License in good standing.
• Valid Pennsylvania Pesticide/Licensed Applicator License (Cat. 6 & 7 or 23) or obtain within 6 months.
• Willing to actively engage with students and uphold school values.

Responsibilities

• Care for trees, shrubs and turf through pruning, mowing, trimming, fertilizing and chemical applications.
• Maintain campus athletic fields and the Spring Creek Golf Course facility on site.
• Assist with snow and ice removal during winter months.
• Work schedule: 40 hours/week, supporting year‑round operations.
• Follow safety protocols and contribute to a positive school environment.
