Set schedule: Shift hours will be 12:00pm - 8:30pm.

Purpose:

Maintain the cleanliness of Mall of America while providing a memorable guest experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Clean restrooms including sinks, toilets, mirrors, walls, floors, and assist with stocking supplies.
2. Wash walls, pillars, and clean entrance and common area glass.
3. Clean seating areas, escalators, railings, and drinking fountains.
4. Clean elevators, involving cleaning an enclosed space.
5. Organize and transport a cleaning supply cart.
6. Patrol common areas during mall hours, clean spills, pick up litter, remove stickers and gum.
7. Provide directions and assistance to guests.
8. Vacuum and extract carpeted areas.
9. Sweep and wet mop floors and stairwells.
10. Empty trash containers.
11. Bring trays back to food court tenants.
12. Ensure safety and cleanliness of the work area and surroundings.
13. Provide outstanding internal and external guest service.
14. Assist with setup and takedown of events.
15. Clean all hand sanitizer units.
16. Maintain regular, reliable, and consistent attendance.
17. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Basic written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work variable and rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Stand and move frequently.
• Kneel and bend frequently.
• Perform repetitive motions frequently.
• Stoop/Squat frequently.
• Reach at or below shoulder level frequently.
• Reach at or above shoulder level frequently.
