Base pay range

$15.25/hr - $15.25/hr

Shift

12:00pm - 8:30pm with a set schedule.

Purpose

Maintain the cleanliness of Mall of America while providing a memorable guest experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Clean restrooms, including sinks, toilets, mirrors, walls, floors, and assist with stocking supplies.
• Wash walls, pillars, and clean entrance and common area glass.
• Clean seating areas, escalators, railings, and drinking fountains.
• Clean elevators, involving cleaning an enclosed space.
• Organize and transport cleaning supplies using a supply cart.
• Patrol common areas during mall hours, clean spills, pick up litter, and remove stickers and gum.
• Provide directions and assistance to guests.
• Vacuum and extract carpeted areas.
• Sweep and wet mop floors and stairwells.
• Empty trash containers.
• Bring trays back to food court tenants.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness of work and surrounding areas.
• Provide excellent guest service both internally and externally.
• Assist with setup and takedown of events.
• Clean all hand sanitizer units.
• Maintain regular, reliable, and consistent attendance.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Basic written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work variable and/or rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Stand and move frequently.
• Kneel and bend frequently.
• Perform repetitive motions frequently.
• Stoop/Squat frequently.
• Reach at or below shoulder level frequently.
• Reach at or above shoulder level frequently.
• Lift/Carry up to 40 lbs infrequently.
• Handle larger items such as boxes or packages infrequently.

$15.25
