Job summary

Manpower, Inc. is seeking a Crane Operator in Charlotte, NC for the 2nd shift. The role supports production by moving materials, operating crane and manual machines, and performing inspections to ensure parts are ready for reuse.

The position requires lifting 50 lbs, operating air tools, and obtaining crane/Fork Truck licenses as needed. Training on first shift may be required for 2–3 months, with potential for full-time conversion.

Qualifications

• Pass an assessment to demonstrate hand skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Capability to operate manual machines (mills, grit blasting, etc.) and follow established procedures.
• Obtain crane and Fork Truck license as required for the role.
• Ability to operate air tools (e.g., grinders, air hammers) and work safely with industrial equipment.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs, work outside, and be willing to wear a respirator if required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain safe crane operations and material movement using Fork Truck, crane operations, and hand trucks.
• Operate manual machines and equipment such as mills, grit blasting, rollers, and related industrial tools.
• Operate basic equipment including furnaces, air-flow stands, and spot welder as required by the process.
• Use air tools such as grinders and air hammers to support production tasks.
• Perform basic inspections using tools such as micrometers, tape, and depth gauges.

Our client is seeking a Crane Operator to join their team in Charlotte, NC. If you take pride in safe, precise operations and you enjoy hands-on work with industrial equipment, this role is built for you. As a Crane Operator, you’ll support production by moving materials and equipment, operating manual and air-powered tools, and performing inspections to help ensure parts are handled correctly and ready for reuse.

Job Title:USA|Process Operator/Crane- 2nd Shift

Location: Charlotte, NC

Pay Range: $20-$22 per hour

Shift: 2ND SHIFT :4 X 10 NIGHTS (Monday - Thursday, 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM). Will need to train on First Shift (5:30 AM - 4:00 PM) Monday - Thursday for 2 to 3 months.

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs, change remnant blast/coating media in 50-gallon barrels, and be willing and capable of working outside; capable of being fitted with a respirator (if required).
