Job summary

The Corrugator Supervisor position at Packaging-Corporation-of-America oversees equipment and production staff on the 2nd shift to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality corrugator operations. Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• 4+ years’ corrugator experience with knowledge of machinery and safety procedures.
• Able to work flexible hours and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Some college or manufacturing training is preferred.
• Supervisory experience in training, teambuilding and conflict resolution is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate shift schedules with the shift supervisor to meet production goals and ensure even workflow.
• Provide direct oversight of employees, approve time records, and enforce company policy.
• Engage in employee development activities and make recommendations on hiring, promotion and disciplinary action.
• Maintain a clean, safe and injury-free work environment by enforcing health and safety procedures.
• Conduct ongoing training on equipment, protocols, production standards, safety regulations, and waste control.
• Perform quality control tests in line with continuous improvement standards.
• Verify job quality and investigate customer complaints.
• Supervise operation of equipment and troubleshoot corrugator slowdowns or malfunctions.
• Analyze corrugator performance, identify opportunities, and drive process/equipment improvements.
• Participate in production meetings and provide updates; coordinate with scheduling to meet requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of downtime, rolls on/off, and material utilization.
