Qualifications

• 3+ years of corrugator supervisory experience in a packaging facility.
• Experience working in Lean environments and problem solving.
• Strong leadership, communication and coaching abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the shift with focus on safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Act as first point of contact for operators regarding mechanical or production issues.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and enforce procedures.
• Coordinate production with other departments to meet goals cost-effectively.
• Monitor production to ensure schedules, reduce waste and meet KPIs.
• Input production data into the system to measure KPIs on efficiency and downtime.
• Provide safety and health recommendations for the facility.
• Produce daily shift production reports and reviews.
• Control load factors and workflow to maximize capacity.
• Manage and coach employees; conduct performance reviews and discipline as needed.
• Recruit, orient, train staff and develop growth opportunities.
• Direct maintenance to troubleshoot issues and perform preventative work.
• Enforce plant safety regulations and promote safety consciousness.
• Ensure staff follow company standards and meet customer commitments.
