Hyatt Regency Coralville is seeking a hands-on Cook for the 2nd shift to join our fast-paced Culinary team. You will help prepare high-quality dishes for restaurant and banquet services while keeping your station organized and aligned with our standards of taste and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
• Set up and maintain your station before, during, and after service.
• Ensure food is prepared and plated in a timely and consistent manner.
• Follow proper food handling, storage, labeling, and rotation procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards at all times.
• Assist with preparation of soups, stocks, sauces, and daily specials.
• Support banquet and outlet production as needed.
• Monitor inventory and communicate needs to kitchen leadership.
• Work collaboratively with culinary team members to ensure smooth service.
• Assist with minimizing food waste and maximizing product usage.
• Follow all safety and kitchen procedures.
