Marcus Hotels & Resorts seeks a motivated full-time 2nd shift Cook for the Hyatt Regency Coralville Hotel & Conference Center. You’ll prepare high-quality menu items for restaurant and banquet services and work with a team that values consistency, presentation, and guest satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have basic cooking knowledge, strong time management, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required to join our culinary team.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
• Set up and maintain your station before, during, and after service.
• Ensure food is prepared and plated in a timely and consistent manner.
• Follow proper food handling, storage, labeling, and rotation procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards at all times.
• Assist with preparation of soups, stocks, sauces, and daily specials.
• Support banquet and outlet production as needed.
• Monitor inventory and communicate needs to kitchen leadership.
• Work collaboratively with culinary team members to ensure smooth service.
• Assist with minimizing food waste and maximizing product usage.
• Follow all safety and kitchen procedures.
