Job summary

Resort Lifestyle Communities in Marlborough, MA is seeking a 2nd Shift Concierge to welcome residents, families, and guests, answer calls, and support front desk operations. This hands-on role requires strong customer service, reliability, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced senior living community.

You’ll assist with transportation scheduling, room reservations, and safety procedures, including monitoring call systems and participating in emergency response.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Create a positive first impression by performing valet parking for residents and visitors.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting residents, families, and visitors, answering calls, and anticipating needs.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies, monitor resident call systems, and contact emergency services when necessary.
  • Oversee building safety systems, including fire alarms; follow emergency procedures and assist residents during fires or severe weather.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling transportation, maintaining records, coordinating guest suite reservations, and ensuring suites meet standards.
  • Support community operations by assisting with room service requests, dining coverage during peak times, event setup, and responsible alcohol service.
  • Maintain cleanliness in common areas and ensure building security by locking/unlocking exterior doors at designated times.
  • Welcome new residents and guide them through the orientation process for a smooth transition.
  • Manage office supplies, resident documents, and menus; perform clerical duties as assigned.

About the Role

As the 2ndShift Concierge,you’ll be the welcoming face of our community,the first to greet residents, families, and guests, and the first to answer the phone. This role is dynamic and hands-on;whileyou’ll serve as the point of contact at the front desk,you’ll also be on your feet providing support wherever is needed.

WhatWe’reLooking For
  • At least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and clean drivingrecord;able to valet park vehicles safely.
  • Able to work Thursday-Monday3:00pm to 11:30pm.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previouscustomer service experience, professional appearance, excellentcommunicationand interpersonal skills.
  • Adaptable and flexible to shifting priorities; willing toassistin various areas.
  • Team-oriented with a proactive approach and attention to detail; reliable in completing tasks accurately and on time.
  • Knowledge of the local community,preferred.
  • Intermediateproficiencyin Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English with residents, guests, and staff.
  • Must meet local alcohol service requirements and obtain food handler permits within two(2)weeks of hire.
