Job summary

Superior Electrical, Mechanical & Plumbing, Inc. seeks a Commercial Plumbing Technician to join our Plumbing Service team in California. The ideal candidate has four years of commercial plumbing experience in new construction, tenant improvements, or commercial service and is available for second-shift hours.

A company vehicle and gas card are provided to support travel between jobsites and field operations. Overtime is available but not guaranteed, and schedule is Tuesday–Saturday, 2 p.m.

Qualifications

• Four years of recent and relevant commercial plumbing experience
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug test
• Valid driver license with clean driving record
• Verbal and written English literacy for communication

Responsibilities

• Provide informative customer service to clients with professional conduct
• Diagnose and clear clogged main and branch lines using cable machines, and perform camera line inspections
• Install, repair or replace commercial plumbing fixtures and water heaters
• Diagnose and repair issues with sanitary waste, vent, or potable water pipes
• Inspect or repair grease traps, interceptors, sump pumps and lift stations
• Diagnose and unclog drains with cable machines, hydro jets, or camera lines
• Submit service paperwork with a summary of the work after each service appointment
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects in a timely manner
• Drive and operate company vehicles within department guidelines
• Willingness to take on additional duties as needed to support the department
