Deluxe in Townsend, MA is seeking a presses operator to handle multi-color sheet-fed or high-speed presses, performing setup, load stock, align plates, and ensure color accuracy. You will work with PMS ink, set up attributes, and coordinate with print production to meet job specs.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 2 years manufacturing/printing experience.
• Education: HS/GED.
• Experience: 2 years printing press experience; familiar with Lean principles. Knowledge of printing process and in usage.
• Basic math, reading and computer skills. Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform the operation and setup of multi-color sheet-fed or high-speed presses, including loading stock, setting paper path and plate mounting, ink mixing, die registration, and attribute setup.
• Ensure ink density, color matching, size and construction meet customer requirements and job instructions.
• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical issues; adjust equipment and perform maintenance as required.
